We are constantly looking for talented Administrative Staff, Lead Teachers, and LEGO Robotics Teachers to work in our after school program. Do you enjoy working with kids?? Do you like to nurture social skills, life skills to younger students?? Do you like to play games, and create fun, learning environment for elementary students, then we need you. AFTER SCHOOL ASST. ADMIN:
Qualified candidates should have the following:
• Must be of minimum 18 years of age
• Should have Bachelors degree related to child education
• Should be punctual and dependable
• Parent communication, Day activity planning experience desired
• Experience in keeping work areas clean to meet licensing requirement.
• Proven ability to communicate with children and adults in a positive and proactive manner
• Ability to create versatile and varied age appropriate activities for children of different ages and developmental stages desired
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
• Food Handlers Permit completed upon hire
• CPR/1st Aid/HIV Bloodborne Pathogens training completed upon hire
• Must pass a DEL background check

 
LEAD TEACHER:
• Must be of minimum 18 years of age
• Should have Bachelors degree related to child education
• Should be punctual and dependable
• Previous experience with elementary age children in a summer camp, tutoring, after school care, volunteering, etc.
• Plan and lead creative activities is desired.
• Prepare snacks for students
• Experience in keeping work areas clean to meet licensing requirement.
• Food Handlers Permit completed upon hire
• CPR/1st Aid/HIV Bloodborne Pathogens training completed upon hire
• Must pass a DEL background check

 
LEAD ROBOTICS TEACHER:
• Must be of minimum 18 years of age
• B.A/B.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
• Teach directly in the classroom with instructional practice, lesson implementation and content knowledge specific to the courses
• Previous experience with elementary age children in a summer camp, tutoring, after school care, volunteering, etc.
• Standardize and formalize learning materials and curriculum
• Innovate the teaching methods
• Experience with robotics competitions (FIRST, VEX, ROBOCUP, BATTLEBOTS) or related field preferred
• Experience with STEM courses in a professional or research setting
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must pass a DEL background check
